Wish Your Were Here, Don't You

Well I'm now living in London and having a good time. Ive been hanging out with Skulls a bit but were yet to have a proper SBC ride. Ive got to get Charlotte a bike so we can do the SBC double date rides. Its unbelievable how many people ride fixies or single speed. i swear its something like 1 in every 4. Some of them have their bars cut down so short there is only enough room for their hands, stupid. Ive been rocking my 20" around town looking for spots to ride and taking a few photos. Most of these spots are either right outside my front door or just 5 mins away.

I saw this little wall ride the day I arrived as we pulled up in the taxi. Its on the main road just outside the apartment I'm staying in. Thanks to Carl for not kicking me out, yet.

This wall is part of a small soccer pitch in the estate by my house. It's has 3 corners but the best and tightest one has a goal in the way.

This little bank is 4 sided with a nice gap at the back and has little curved walls in front of the main building. It's fun to ride but they are to small really.

Now this spot is my favorite of my locals and only 5 or so mins away. It's in a fenced off estate but the gate probably only closes in the wee hours of the morning. I spied the courtyard area of this estate on our way back from the tube. it had little slant walls and looked like there was some potential, but i wasn't expecting this. I've ridden there a bunch of time and have never been asked to leave.

Im sure you have all heard of the south banks before but i thought id show you what its looking like now, such a sweet spot.

These last 2 shots are from when Charlotte and i went to the Borough market last weekend. The first is of a stall that makes amazing organic juice, the second is of the crazy selection of yogurt and chocolate covered goodies. just about anything you could want or think of is there. these guys also make amazing looking Turkish delight. We were both feeling hungover from the night before and in need of some food. I got this plate of potato with little pickles that is smothered with freshly melted cheese. I would have been happy to have a heart attack right then and there. Ive been up to all sorts of other stuff but ill fill you all in later. Oh, and wish me luck for a job trial on Monday. Not sure if my skills are up to standard but I'm going to spend my weekend with Photoshop Mama. Check you later.
